On the night of July 15, coup plotters sent the written order “Seize power” to the Air Force Enlisted Airmen Training Brigade Command in Kütahya. Commander of Air Force Enlisted Airmen Training Brigade and Garrison Brigadier Celal Başoğlu got into touch with and informed Ahmet Hamdi Nayir, Governor of Kütahya after he torn the written order and told the Governor that he declared the coup order null and void and he was stood with state and nation as law enforcement for public order and security of the city. Having held a meeting with commanders in garrison, Başoğlu ordered not to receive orders from anyone except himself.
